Dear friends and family,

We are reaching out during a very difficult time for our family. Recently, Ross, the father of our four children and our household's anchor, was diagnosed with uveal melanoma, a rare and aggressive form of eye cancer. This news has been devastating for all of us.

Ross will be undergoing radiation treatment in Houston on September 17th, which will require us to stay there for a week. His doctors expect he will lose vision in his right eye within 12-18 months, and we'll be making frequent trips back to Houston for follow-up care. As you can imagine, this is not only an emotional strain but also a logistical challenge for our family.

Ross is the glue that holds our home together, and right now, we need help keeping everything running smoothly. We've set up this CareCalendar to organize assistance with meals, transportation, childcare, and other everyday needs while we focus on Ross's treatment and recovery.
