Scotty's needs are increasing and Cynthia & Dave cannot do this all on their own. Any assistance helps-come by for a visit and stay awhile. If you sign up for a slot or slots in advance, it allows them to plan to run an errand, take a break or have an extra set of hands. So if you can sit with Scotty for a couple of hours, it will help keep him at home with loved ones, which is our goal.
When visiting, Scotty really benefits from touch-scratch his skin around the breathing mask, rub his feet or shoulders, scratch his head. Give him ice as his mouth is very dry from the breathing assistance. Just love on him or sit with & watch a movie or go through old photos & reminince.
